Know What Fashion Colors are “IN” this Year!

With fall just around the corner, many of us are starting to look in our wardrobe for that jacket or coat to keep us warm. For most of us, we already have that special coat or jacket, just waiting to be taken out. But if you are not one of these people and in the market for a new coat, here’s what you should expect to find in your local department stores. First of all, black is always, and will continue to be the best seller for outerwear coats. And that’s not surprising. Black is traditional and always trendy. In addition, outerwear is a significant purchase, a couple hundred dollars at the minimum, so you want to have something that will last you a long time. Fashion colors that should be common this year are the dark camel, red and the purple. Especially with the wool coats, these colors blend very well with wools or cashmere. In addition, we are noticing that purple can be worn by women of all ages. Women from their 20’s to their 60’s can wear the color purple. It’s an easy color to match as well. Expect to see purple in all the collection, in some form or another. As for colors that are fallen off the radar, brown will still be there but it’s not the color of the year. I suspect some stores will be limiting how much brown they will carry. If you want brown, I strongly recommend buying early.

I think that it's interesting that purple is still in the top fashion colors, Dino. Even more interesting is the fact that it's worn by both genders!!
